Testimonies from Cuba

Hearing about all of the things the Father has done on past trips to the island and how people still draw encouragement from those experiences was a highlight of this trip.
I heard testimonies of people being carried out of services literally frozen in place and some attendees who were out in the Spirit for a full twenty-four hours! I was told about one individual who felt such fire on them that they literally ran into the restroom to run their hands under cold water - it was that hot!
There was one pastor who I originally met on my first trip eighteen years ago and he said the following: “I’ll never forget that first conference! It was a before and after experience - I was never the same after that encounter!”
Below are a few more testimonies from my time on the island. Thanks for reading!
After our first service, one of the pastors told me, “The strangest thing happened tonight: a couple came up to me and the woman was very sad because her husband hadn’t responded to the altar call for salvation. As they approached, the husband fell into my arms weeping because he knew that he needed to get right with the Lord!”
It was during that same service that I called out to a couple seated in the back to come up for prayer. I didn’t lay hands on either one and instead just began releasing what God wanted to speak over them. Both ended up on the floor beneath the weight of the Spirit! Afterwards, the husband said that he had been skeptical of such things, but they both ended up leaving powerfully impacted and greatly encouraged!
On the final night of the conference, I finished my session and sat on the edge of the platform during the transition to the next speaker. As people were coming off the stage, I simply held out my hand to help a young woman down. Keep in mind that this was just one second of contact between us!
A few minutes later, she came back with an intense look on her face and said, “I have to talk to you. I don’t know what’s going on, but when you took my hand to help me down, I felt this electrical charge go into my hand and shoot up my arm. I don’t know what’s going on, but I told my husband I needed to come back so you could pray for me.”
I had her sit next to me on the stage and I said, “The enemy did something to you to put fear into your heart, didn’t he?” She explained the situation in her life that the enemy had used to infuse fear into her heart and I began to minister to her.
Eventually, she fell onto the floor beneath the power of God. When she stood up afterwards, you could see her countenance was markedly different!
Towards the end of our trip, as we were saying our goodbyes to one another, a woman came up to me. I was expecting her to say “thanks for everything, God bless you,” but instead she said, “I got a new heart! Do you remember me?” I wasn’t sure exactly what was she was referring to in that moment, but I thanked her for sharing.
Later I was chatting with my friend, Francisco, and he said he was so glad she came up to me. He had met the woman previously and knew that she struggled with heart failure and was on twenty-two medications because of her condition.
After praying for her on a previous trip, she went to her doctor and was told that her heart was fine - almost like a totally new heart! - and that she didn’t need to be on the medications anymore.
It didn’t matter if God had literally given her a new heart or healed the one she already had; I was so glad to hear it was healed!
